We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Arabic-speaking Waitress for a 7-month temporary contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This role requires a warm and professional demeanor, with the ability to communicate effectively with Arabic-speaking guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and welcome guests with a positive attitude, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Provide detailed information on menu items, daily specials, and beverage options in Arabic and English.
- Address guests' inquiries, preferences, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Order Taking & Serving:
- Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen staff, ensuring that all orders are correct and delivered in a timely manner.
- Serve food and beverages according to the restaurant's standards, maintaining attention to presentation and cleanliness.
- Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and well-maintained throughout the dining experience.
- Billing & Cash Handling:
- Present bills to guests and process payments accurately, ensuring compliance with the restaurant's billing procedures.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and any other forms of payment securely.
- Cleanliness & Safety:
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tables, dining areas, and service stations.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and sanitary dining environment for both guests and staff.
- Assist with daily cleaning tasks and end-of-shift duties.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members, including kitchen staff and management, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure guests' needs are met and any issues are resolved quickly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a waitress or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, with strong verbal communication skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is a plus.
