We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Administrator to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide high-quality support for IT systems and infrastructure. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring optimal performance and seamless operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical Support: Offer day-to-day support for desktop, laptop, and mobile device issues for end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
- Manage IT Infrastructure: Administer and maintain servers, networks, firewalls, routers, and other IT infrastructure components to ensure smooth operations.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine system checks, updates, and backups to ensure data integrity, system reliability, and security.
- Install and Configure: Set up and configure new hardware and software as needed, ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
- User Training and Documentation: Provide training to users on software, hardware, and IT best practices, and create detailed documentation for processes and troubleshooting.
- Network Management: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure secure access for all users.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain security protocols, antivirus software, and firewalls to protect systems from potential threats.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with third-party vendors for hardware purchases, software licenses, and other IT services as required.
- Incident Management: Manage and resolve IT-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime for users.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of IT systems and services.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in IT support, administration, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency in network setup, troubleshooting, and administration (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and enterprise-level email management.
