Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Administrator to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide high-quality support for IT systems and infrastructure. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring optimal performance and seamless operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Technical Support: Offer day-to-day support for desktop, laptop, and mobile device issues for end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Manage IT Infrastructure: Administer and maintain servers, networks, firewalls, routers, and other IT infrastructure components to ensure smooth operations.
  • System Maintenance: Perform routine system checks, updates, and backups to ensure data integrity, system reliability, and security.
  • Install and Configure: Set up and configure new hardware and software as needed, ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
  • User Training and Documentation: Provide training to users on software, hardware, and IT best practices, and create detailed documentation for processes and troubleshooting.
  • Network Management: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure secure access for all users.
  • Security Management: Implement and maintain security protocols, antivirus software, and firewalls to protect systems from potential threats.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with third-party vendors for hardware purchases, software licenses, and other IT services as required.
  • Incident Management: Manage and resolve IT-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime for users.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of IT systems and services.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in IT support, administration, or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems.
    • Proficiency in network setup, troubleshooting, and administration (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi).
    • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
    • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and enterprise-level email management.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • High attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Certification: Relevant certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
