E-commerce Manager

Job Description

The E-commerce Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing our e-commerce platform, driving sales growth, and enhancing the overall customer experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of e-commerce trends, digital marketing, and customer behavior. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in e-commerce management and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the e-commerce strategy to drive online sales growth and improve customer experience.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, including product listings, inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to create and execute promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze and report on e-commerce performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Optimize the user experience on the website, ensuring it is intuitive, engaging, and conversion-focused.
  • Oversee SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media strategies to drive traffic and sales.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners, including payment gateways, logistics providers, and digital agencies.
  • Stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices, and implement relevant innovations.
  • Ensure the e-commerce platform is secure, scalable, and performs optimally across all devices.
  • Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably within a fast-growing company.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and digital marketing tools.
  • Proven experience in driving online sales and improving conversion rates.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and other digital marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in the retail or consumer goods industry.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization techniques.
