As a QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our e-commerce platform. You will be responsible for identifying and reporting bugs, performing thorough testing of new features, and ensuring that our website and applications function seamlessly for our users. Your keen eye for detail and analytical skills will be essential in maintaining our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various components of the e-commerce platform.
• Perform manual and automated testing on web and mobile applications to identify bugs and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
• Document and report bugs, issues, and defects, and track their resolution in a timely manner.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Participate in the design and implementation of automated test frameworks and tools.
• Ensure that all testing activities are carried out according to established processes and standards.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the quality of our products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques.
• Proficiency in using testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with API testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in performance and security testing.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
