We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Freight Forwarding Executive to join our client's logistics team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the end-to-end freight forwarding process, including air, sea, and land shipments. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to ensure seamless coordination with clients, carriers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Shipments: Coordinate and manage air, sea, and land shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Client Coordination: Communicate with clients to understand their shipping needs, provide quotes, and update them on shipment status.
• Documentation: Prepare and process all necessary shipping documents, such as Bill of Lading, AWB, invoices, and customs declarations.
• Customs Clearance: Oversee the customs clearance process and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements in the UAE.
• Carrier Negotiation: Negotiate rates with shipping lines, airlines, and other carriers to secure competitive pricing for clients.
• Track and Monitor Shipments: Monitor shipments to ensure they are on schedule and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on shipment status, costs, and any discrepancies, providing insights to improve operations.
• Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, shipping agents, and other service providers.
• Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency in the freight forwarding process.
• Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving any concerns in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in the UAE.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in using freight management software and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
  • Knowledge of air, sea, and land transportation processes.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
• Language: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
